Problem

Outlook 2013/2016 autocomplete cache needs copying to either another profile on the same computer or to another computer.

Solution

Step 1 – Copy the autocomplete file from the profile with the cache of names & email addresses

Browse to Drive:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache on the profile that has the cache of names & email addresses.
Take a copy of the Stream_Autocomplete file.

Step 2 – Paste the Stream_Autocomplete file copied previously into the required profile

Browse to Drive:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache on the profile that requires the autocomplete cache.
Paste the copied file from step 1 into the RoamCache folder on the required profile.

Browse to Drive:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache

Step 3 – Rename the original autocomplete file on the other profile & or computer

Browse to Drive:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache on the profile that requires the autocomplete cache.
Right click the autocomplete file & rename the file adding ‘Old’ to the start of the file name.

Browse to Drive:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache

Step 4 – Replace the new file name with the old file name

Right click the old autocomplete cache file & click rename.
Highlight the file name excluding the word old, right click & click copy.

Once copied, right click the new autocomplete cache file & click rename.
Highlight the full name, right click & click paste.

lick the new autocomplete cache file & click rename.

Highlight the full name, right click & click paste.

Step 5 – Reopen Outlook

Close & then open Outlook.
The cache of names & email addresses should now show in new emails on the different profile/computer.
