How to install Windows 10 updates

Windows 10 is updated automatically by downloading and installing updates released by Microsoft, this usually occurs every second Tuesday of the month known as Patch Tuesday. However, important updates could be released at any time prior to this.

Windows 10 automatically checks for new Windows Updates at the time you have set in automatic maintenance. You can set active hours, usually, this is set to 08:00 – 17:00 and lets windows know when the PC is being used most so the computer doesn’t automatically restart windows during this period.

Advanced options allow you to also receive updates for other Microsoft products.
