Rebranding of Microsoft Office 365 to Microsoft 365

Microsoft have decided it is time for a rebrand of office 365 – after being available for nearly a decade. Business plans will be renamed ‘Microsoft 365’ from the 21^st April. Office 365 plans  will be renamed to:

Office 365 Business Essentials will rebrand to Microsoft 365 Business Basic

Office 365 Business Premium will rebrand to Microsoft 365 Business Standard

Microsoft 365 Business will rebrand to Microsoft 365 Business Premium

Office 365 Business will rebrand to Microsoft 365 Apps (for business)

Office 365 ProPlus will rebrand to Microsoft 365 Apps (for enterprise)

Don’t worry though – you will not need to upgrade your subscription this will be done automatically and there will be no increase in price for Microsoft 365. At the moment Microsoft are just rebranding  Office 365 to Microsoft 365 and the current products services, apps and features will remain as normal with no change. Microsoft teams will remain  ensuring businesses can continue to communicate through this – ideal with pandemic going on allowing regular communication within employees.
